Downstream from Marmande and on the right bank of the lateral canal, Meilhan is a pleasant, green village which overlooks the Garonne and its canal, suddenly very close. From the esplanade of the Tertre, the view over the whole valley is superb. This site is also classified as a World Heritage Site. To see, the church of the 19th century, the castle Jarrousse de Sillac, the remains of an ancient citadel and the aqueduct of the canal.
