Travel Guide Osmets

On the road between Trie-sur-Baïse and Pouyastruc, Osmets is a quiet village. At least most of the time. Because the town is known to be on the itinerary of the famous Tarbes-Osmets-Luby hill race which has been going on for almost 40 years. This race moves athletes and spectators from all over the region. For the occasion, many volunteers are mobilized. Osmets has another particularity: since spring 2018, a shelter has been equipped with an automatic bread and pastry vending machine in the departmental area. A very practical service that is very popular with residents. And strangely enough, the chopsticks that come out are crispy! You can appreciate the local architecture in this town, combining pebbles and adobe in very beautiful assemblies.
