Crossed by the Gers which flows into the Garonne shortly afterwards. The town grew up around a Cluniac priory, consecrated by Pope Urban II himself in 1096, when he was preaching the first crusade in the region. Don't miss the church of Saint-Martin which has a beautiful apse, an impressive dome and a 12th century mosaic which tells the story of Samson's triumph over the lion. You must stroll through the old streets and the Place des Cornières, where you can admire the half-timbered houses of the Rue des Sept-Sceaux and the Rue des Baux. From Boé, you will pass by the iron horse of the sculptor Serge Carvalho.
