Located in the valley of Haut-Adour, 4 kilometers south of Bagnères-de-Bigorre, the small village of Beaudéan has all the characteristics and the charm of the "doors" of the mountain. It is worth a stop, especially to visit the house where Dominique-Jean Larrey was born, chief surgeon of Napoleon I's imperial guard. Throughout the year, many quality exhibitions animate the artistic space. From Beaudéan, you can go to the wide and sunny Campan valley or to the Lesponne valley, more steep and wild. From the village, the vegetation loses its beautiful light green and the fir trees take over.
