This is the first village you will encounter at the exit of Argelès-Gazost on the rise of the Col Pass. In order to defend the entrance of the valley, Arras-en-Lavedan has a very beautiful mountain church (recorded at the supplementary inventory of historical monuments) with a Gothic door of cagots, in, a rectangular steeple which is housed in a roof roof with three slopes, a golden wood altar of the th century, a moving th century painting of the martyrdom of St Catherine and A Virgin sitting on the children of polychrome wood of the th century.
