Chapelle des Carmélites in Toulouse, organizing classical music concerts and festivals such as the Marathon des Mots.
The convent of the Carmelite was built in the th century and this chapel is only the last remnant. In the th century, it really is worth a visit. It is located a few metres from the study and heritage library in the heart of the city, and is a small and peaceful place in the heart of Toulouse. Admire the decorations painted by Jean-Pierre Rivals and Jean-Baptiste Despax, the, voute and the walls. Note that it has excellent acoustics, making it one of the privileged places for classical music concerts or festivals such as the Marathon of Words.
