Restaurant with patio offering a speciality of Italian food and transalpine flavours with fresh products

The Cardito is named after a city in the Naples region. It is, of course, that this restaurant, located on the top of the Paved coast, has made itself a specialty of Italian dishes. In its bright room, under one of its verandas or on its lovely terrace with patio, you can enjoy the rustic flavours prepared from fresh products: insalata portofino (salad with hot lobster tails) or misto misto (assortment of Italian sausages) for example, then a risotto, veal steak or grilled bar, unless you choose for a dish of homemade cooked pasta! To finish, profiteroles, glazed or glazed panna, you have the choice. A very friendly restaurant in which it is pleasant to organise anniversaries and which, since the beginning of 2017, hosts the local branch of the Hive which says yes.

Nous connaissions bien le Cardito dont nous avions apprécié l'ambiance et la qualité. Hélas cela a beaucoup changé : finie l'ambiance chaleureuse,le fritto misto était trop gras, les rotolinos étaient secs et trop cuits et les pâtes mal cuites ... un comble! Bref je n'y reviendrai pas.

Restaurant napolitain haut en couleurs et en cuisine italienne bien typée et copieuse, avec en particulier d'excellents antipasti. Très bons vins( italiens bien sûr!) également. Service chaleureux qui a toutefois baissé au fil des années à cause de la fréquentation de plus en plus importante et donc d'un rendement à assurer, ce qui fait perdre en disponibilité pour le client. Dommage! On garde la nostalgie des premières années.....

Nice restaurant, quantity preaches by contribution with quality, really family but excellent cuisine by its simplicity of the products, the dishes. The service is excellent, but a lot of noise, avoid if you want to dine. A little expensive with my taste.
