Between the Save and the Garonne, Grenade has preserved its bastide soul. Created in the 13th century, it still has an imposing market hall in the center of the village, built of Pyrenean fir and oak, one of the largest in France. Under its incredible framework, a market is held on Saturday mornings with mostly local producers. From one street to another, the past has left beautiful traces: half-timbered houses, dovecotes and imposing private mansions. The bell tower of the church Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, dating from the 14th century and 47 meters high, is typical of the Toulouse Gothic style. Authentic and very lively, Grenade is a favorite stop in the Toulouse region.
