It is the last bastion of Lot-et-Garonne before the Dordogne and the Gironde. Marguerite Donnadieu's father was a child of the country. The latter will sign her novels with the name of Duras, in 1943. His father's house is in Pardaillan. Today, unfortunately, only ruins remain. A tribute is paid each year to the author during a whole weekend of meetings. The Pays de Duras also rhymes with authenticity and conviviality.
