Blagnac, the capital of aeronautics, will be offering a fabulous journey of a thousand colours this winter as part of the Lantern Festival. The two-month event will feature 1,000 giant lanterns that will refer to scenes from Chinese life, the aerospace epic, and mythical and spectacular legends. The festival takes place in the green setting of Ritouret Park, whose lake will be invaded by pandas and other dragons. At nightfall and every evening, the park will be transformed into a city of lights, thanks to monumental sculptures that come straight from the Sichuan province. Animations will also be proposed, and you should not miss the performances of the artists of the Sichuan Opera, who change their faces up to 30 times per representation, an art recognized as a National Treasure in China.
