Cocumont is a thousand years of history. The village has a Romanesque church from the 11th century, to which the foundation of the village is attributed. Surrounded as it was in the Middle Ages by its cemetery, this church is the chapel of the former priory. Cocumont is famous for its cellar which was founded in 1957 and produces wines under the appellation Côtes du Marmandais. Make a detour there, if only to enjoy the splendid vineyard landscapes on the hillside, and for those who have a little time, many hiking trails of varying length and difficulty criss-cross the area
