DESMAN PYRENEAN SKIS
The desman is a small mammal of the Pyrenees, an aquatic mole that is distinguished by its trunk. Desman is also the name that Julien Miellet and Sébastien Lafont have chosen to give to their ski brand to signify their anchoring in the region. The two friends, lovers of skiing, embarked on this adventure in 2015, first to have fun. Except that their first prototypes were very successful and their buddy story turned into a real company. Desman skis, handcrafted in a European workshop, are designed and designated from Bagnères-de-Luchon, made of solid materials and offer irreproachable and durable quality. Julien Miellet and Sébastien Lafont have created high-performance and very beautiful skis, "for everyone and for all types of terrain": hiking, piste, freeride... While Mélanie Perez, the graphic designer, gave them a unique and upscale look. We can indeed guess, on the wooden veneer that covers the skis, the silhouettes of the Pyrenean peaks: Pic du Midi, Canigou, Vignemale, Aneto, Mont Perdu...
