After Montgiscard, the Canal du Midi crosses this township, which is watered by a multitude of small streams. The picturesque site of the lock of Ticaille is appreciated to come to admire the canal and to walk there. This charming little town with its rich heritage (churches, castles, mills, old tile factory) is well worth a stopover. For the record, Ayguesvives is known in the world of rugby for having seen Audrey Zitter practice in its 13-a-side rugby school. This sportswoman, who is now involved in the development of women's rugby, distinguished herself in 2013 by being the first woman to coach a senior men's sports team
