Located on the border with the Haute-Garonne, in a dominant position on a hillside, Pujaudran was situated on the ancient road linking Bordeaux to Jerusalem, then, in the 11th century, the village became a stopover on the road to Santiago de Compostela. The town developed in the Middle Ages, with the construction of a religious commandery, a beautiful church and a hospital. The property of the clergy was sold and dispersed during the Revolution. Pujaudran was for a long time an important place for the manufacture of canal tiles, because of the clayey marl that constitutes the soil of the commune. The church and its bell tower are listed as historical monuments
