POTTERY FARM GALLERY
Hilary Fehr studied ceramics in Yorkshire, Great Britain and then lived abroad for several years before settling in the Gers. Since 2011, she has set up her studio, Pottery Farm Gallery, in the family home in Mauvezin. She works on the lathe and makes sculptures as well as pieces for everyday domestic use around gastronomy (stoneware culinary pottery; her pieces can be put in the oven, the microwave, the dishwasher and the freezer) or for purely decorative purposes. The decorations are inspired by the ancient tattoos, jewellery and carpets of the Berber culture. It is possible to discover his artistic universe and to be initiated during a training course (any level - different formulas). Also visible on site, a beautiful art and craft exhibition gallery open since March 2017 where is presented the work of ceramists of course but also painters, plus a bookstore and a corner bookstore.
