Straddling the Agenais and Albret regions, the small and charming village of Bruch is remarkable for its imposing 13th century medieval tower. Bruch is a typical example of the Castrum type of village, that is to say a fortified town used as a refuge in case of attack and whose ramparts delimit the peasant world from the bourgeoisie. A fair town around 1900, these days took place with sales in the morning and balls in the afternoon where dancing and the pleasures of the table were celebrated. A brief visit to the heart of the village will allow the onlooker to admire the half-timbered houses that remain... and why not go on a treasure hunt!
