Markets Lectoure

Friday mornings are a hive of activity on Rue Nationale, the artery running through the town from one end to the other. Merchants take over the street, and you'll find everything from local produce and clothing to upholsterers, plants, carpets and mattresses... In summer, the market expands, joined by street hawkers to meet tourist demand. On Sunday mornings, local producers take over the cathedral square. These include the famous Lectoure melon.
