Cazaubon is a medieval village like so many others in the Gers, with its half-timbered houses, covered square, imposing church and bullring. Cazaubon is famous for its spa, located in the hamlet of Barbotan-les-Thermes. Henri IV, Michel de Montaigne and Cardinal de Richelieu are among the most famous visitors to this spa, which specializes in the treatment of circulatory disorders. The bell tower of the astonishing 15th-century Saint-Pierre church serves as the town's gateway. An extensive visitor infrastructure and leisure facilities make Barbotan a pleasant destination for all ages.
