Run by volunteers and professionals and managed by a federation of associations, Radio País is broadcast in the South-West, Bigorre, Béarn and Gers. It also broadcasts via Internet streaming, and aims to extend its listening area to the Landes and lower Adour regions. This independent, bilingual radio station aims to promote the Langue d'oc language and culture in Gascony, while keeping in step with the diversity of Occitan usage. The local Gers station HIT FM has 5 frequencies, in Auch, Mirande, Fleurance, L'isle Jourdain and Agen. In the afternoon, music and news punctuate the day. With local news, sports, a great playlist and humorous sketches, the Gascony station offers a wide variety of programs, with plenty of room for local and regional news.
