Sainte-Geneviève-sur-Argence is a lively, but picturesque village. In the town, the hamlet of Orlhaguet, which deserves the detour, especially by the numerous stone crosses, son its territory. These medieval crosses (usually placed at roads and roads) are three dimensions, i. e. their side is also figurative and their profiles are filled with secondary cross. Orlhaguet, a neighbour of Sainte-Geneviève, on the route of Mur-de-Out has a fortified church which, with its large square tower, looks more like a castle than a religious building. Go and see, just further afield, the castle of Gabriac, a kind of master house that comes to support a square tower, all on a promontory, on the end of a road lined with moss trees. Between Wall-de-Out and Sainte-Geneviève, don't miss Sarrans Lake and the Chapel Peninsula (6 km from the dam), one of the most romantic and picturesque location in the department. On the north-west edge of the Aubrac, the sector offers magnificent views of the Truyère valley and the frequently snowy Cantal massif.
