A real Auvergne village in Occitania, both by its location at the tip of the Aveyron, surrounded on all sides by the Cantal, and by its architecture and the appearance of its grey houses, designed to withstand the harsh winters. The local economy is mainly based on cattle breeding, but is increasingly developing towards outdoor tourism. You have to go to the peninsula of Laussac, which appeared after the Sarrans dam was filled with water, to admire the green landscape of the Truyère valley. Be careful though, as this lake is artificial and is primarily intended to supply the Sarrans power plant.
