This village, in the past of a royal justice, has suffered numerous damage during clashes between calvinists and Catholics. These looting and destruction had the effect of destroying much of its heritage, so the church dates back to the last century. On the other hand, in the hamlet of Marinesques, more south, is a th century castle, consisting of a fortified square body on which a round tower is built. This castle, in fact a fortified barn, belonged to the abbey of Loc-Dieu.
