Organized around the lake and its island, the town is criss-crossed by a vast network of cycle paths. Several directions are accessible from the center of the seaside resort: the three beaches of Vieux Boucau, the lakes of Messanges or Soustons and the Landes forest via the Vélodyssée. Vieux-Boucau attracts lovers of unspoilt landscapes and wild nature. Just behind the dune, a few meters from the center, the beaches offer safe swimming. The "Port d'Albret" marine lake offers a calm, sporty atmosphere. In summer, stilt-walkers and Basque pelota perform at the fronton.
