Creissels is a village built at the foot of the cliffs of the Causse du Larzac, overlooking the Tarn, 3 km from Millau and less than 30 km from Saint-Affrique. It is interesting for several reasons. First of all for its aqueduct on the village square, its old mills and, especially its castle of the Counts of Rodez, but also for its waterfalls. A pleasant place to walk in a recess of the Larzac causse, the site of the waterfalls provides a change of scenery only a few kilometres from the town. It is also the closest village to the viaduct, a must for those who want to contemplate the work from the feet of the gigantic piles.
