Bournazel is particularly known for its Renaissance castle, built between 1545 and 1560, which has been the subject of a major restoration campaign, including the restitution of the monumental grand staircase. On the main facade, windows, pilasters, columns, pediments and friezes are balanced, while on the other wing, references to Antiquity appear more openly. Inside, there is an important collection of paintings, furniture and sculptures from the 16th and 17th centuries. The garden, classified as a Remarkable Garden, is one of the rare examples in France of Renaissance landscape composition.
