LE LUC HAUT
Before sinking into the gorges of the Aveyron and descending to Belcastel, a short stop in this 18th century hamlet may tempt the gourmands. Sylvie and Jean-Claude Rouquette raise the chickens and ducks themselves and will be happy to prepare them for you with seasonal vegetables or local specialities. They serve them sautéed, roasted, preserved, or in the form of the famous foie gras. In addition to that, the cook regales her guests with regional recipes, such as the homemade pâté or the poultry pâté, galantine and rillettes from the farm, served in a beautiful rustic room. During the summer months, fruit pies are served on the tables, competing with fouace or snow eggs. This farm has also built five independent bedrooms in its buildings. Two of them are family - for four to six people -, with a large shared bathroom, and the others are for two to three people - with disabled access (including one with an electric trolley). The house also offers a TV lounge, a reception room and games for children.
The welcome is very friendly and the setting is pleasant.
