Aubin, one of the oldest cities in Rouergue, is dominated by its fort, which is accessed through steep alleys. Once you pass the half-timbered houses and the grain market, symbol of the commercial dynamics of the Middle Ages, you can guess the watch or shooting points and discover the square tower, the only one still standing, and the church of the Last Supper or Saint-Amans-du-Fort. The summit, at the foot of the Virgin and Child, offers a breathtaking view of the Enne valley, the Gua district and its chimneys that awaken the memories of the mine.
