Sore is located in the Landes department, on the border with neighboring Gironde. The Petite Leyre river runs through the commune, where you'll find a 12th-century mill. Also worth seeing: the 13th-century Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, which has undergone several alterations and is now listed as a historic monument; and the old town gate, known as the "English Gate" and built of typical Landes stone (garluche), opposite the mill. Various hiking trails are available on the town's website. We look forward to welcoming you on foot or by bike.
