Coralie Gauvrit and Antoine Latry met in the kitchens of the Relais de la Poste in Magescq, before creating Pastis d'Armagnac. Since then, they've also set up shop in an emblematic Saint-Justin address, the kind of place that has a soul and a story to tell. What they've done with the ex-Café des Allées and its two terraces is superb, friendly and elegant in equal measure. Snacked scallops, veal mignon, grilled octopus... The chef excels at cooking fish, and Coralie's desserts are simply stunning.

Set in a beautiful 13th-century bastide, Les Allées offers a pleasant setting for a memorable taste experience. The tasteful decor, with its hints of greenery, is a great success. The superb interior patio is a true oasis of tranquillity. In fine weather, you can also enjoy a meal on the terrace shaded by maple trees. Here, you'll discover delicious bistronomic cuisine, lovingly home-cooked with local and seasonal produce. Depending on the season, starters include grilled octopus, lobster roasted in semi-salted butter or croquette of pig's trotters. Next, Magescq pigeon, red tuna or sautéed veal sweetbreads are sure to please. For dessert? The famous chocolate croque maïs, the traditional Grand Marnier soufflé or the Soustons peanut and dulce de leche are gourmet treasures. The restaurant is also famous for Pastis d'Armagnac, a regional recipe revisited by Antoine and Coralie. This crunchy-melting Landes cake flavored with young Armagnac has a taste of home.
