The village is a huge plum orchard, with a population of just 500 according to the latest census, carried out in 2006. A few years ago, the village introduced an Agen prune festival, held every year on the second Sunday in September. The event attracts around 40 exhibitors and over 6,000 visitors from France and abroad. Places to visit include Saint-Aubin church and the Poyaler mill. Two kilometers south of Saint-Aubin, visitors can also discover the Olivetan Benedictine abbey of Notre-Dame de Maylis.
