Domrémy is the homeland of Joan of Arc, a tiny village of barely 200 inhabitants, not far from the Meuse, where the story of Joan of Arc begins in 1412. The young girl was born in a village divided between several authorities, with Champagne to the north and the Barrois Mouvant to the south. Today, many vestiges of this period can be found. The house where Joan of Arc was born is listed as a historical monument, as is the church of Saint-Rémy and the Basilica of Bois-Chenu where Joan heard the voices. The Johannine Centre is a museum that will allow you to immerse yourself in the history of Joan of Arc, supported by the discoveries of researchers.
