Located in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, Sabres boasts an exceptional natural heritage. The area is home to the Ecomusée de la Grande Lande, a memorial to the cultural heritage of the Landes region. A train also takes you to the Marquèze airial, where a 19th-century reconstruction of one of the town's districts is on display. Sabres also boasts the Celtic Grimann stone, known as the "pierre levée". According to legend, children who were slow to walk were presented with this stone to enable them to take their first steps.
