Saint-Quirin, classified as one of France's most beautiful villages and awarded the title of "village in bloom", bears witness to an ancient history dating back to Gallo-Roman times. In the heart of the forest, the remains of the Croix Guillaume hamlet, dating back to the year 80, still stand. Renowned for its picturesque charm, the village has a rich heritage, with 75 listed buildings, including the prioral church and Benedictine priory buildings. Today, Saint-Quirin remains a must for hikers and nature lovers. It is also a place of pilgrimage, thanks to its church, dedicated to the martyred saint who gave it its name.
