Lorraine American Cemetery is the largest World War II American cemetery in Europe
This is the largest World War II American cemetery in Europe: 10,489 American soldiers are buried here. The Wall of the Missing lists 444 American soldiers whose bodies were never found. It is a place of pilgrimage for many soldiers who came from across the Atlantic with their families. Every year in May, the site hosts a "Memorial Day" to commemorate these men who fought alongside the French.

Endroit chargé d'histoire. Impressionnant de voir toutes ces belles croix blanches dans un cadre verdoyant. C'est comme dans les films!
