In February 2022, after two years of closure of the country due to Covid, we were able to return to India. In March, we met different weavers' cooperatives. The observation was the same everywhere, the pandemic forced many people to abandon their profession and to go back to agriculture. Weaving was particularly affected by this forced exodus, the workshop was often empty, with few staff, and we had difficulty in finding stock compared to other years.

Faced with this situation and with a desire to continue to share and highlight the Indian know-how of great quality, we decided to launch our own brand "Atelier d'Ailleurs".

We have therefore created a whole range of clothes, jackets, nightgowns, kimonos, dresses, caftans and tunics. We have also created a range of tablecloths, placemats and napkins for the arts of the table, made in the Thar desert in Bikaner. Everything is made in the respect of our convictions and values.

The store's embroidery packaging was also designed by atelier d'ailleurs and made in Hyderabad.

From our travels, we have also brought back bags, table runners in silk and embroidery, cushions, bed covers in cotton, sculptures in bronze and wood.

From our visits to our jewelers, we also brought back rings and pendants in semi-precious stones and enameled bracelets on silver as well as a large collection of very colorful costume jewelry.

In Metz, we continue to imagine and create our jewelry, necklaces and bracelets made of pearls, pearls that we bring back from our travels. Finally, we still create our enamel jewelry in our kilns.

Recently, we have also started to design mugs and other mugs and will soon start to create porcelain creations..
