In the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Natural Park, Moustey has the distinction of being exactly 1,000 km from Santiago de Compostela on the via Turonensis. This is indicated by the famous "1,000 milestone" erected in front of one of the village's two churches (Notre-Dame). Moustey is unusual in having two churches next to each other: Notre-Dame and Saint-Martin, whose history is uncertain. Also worth seeing are the Montauzie glassworks, founded in the 18th century and closed in 1897, and the Sainte-Ruffine fountain. The village is surrounded by a beautiful forest. There are also a few airials.
