Gérard Sanchez's Glaces Moustache is certainly one of France's finest artisanal ice creams. The secret? Full-fat milk, farmhouse cream, seasonal fruit... And nearly 130 flavors! Among the most iconic: Vanille Bourbon de Madagascar (voted one of France's best ice creams by Gault & Millau in 2020), Un amour de glace (whole milk vanilla base with organic chocolate chips and nougatine slivers), La Bretonne (whole milk salted butter caramel with crumble inclusion and caramel coulis) and Banoffee.

For the pleasure of the small and the larger, make a gourmande stop at this glacier which combines taste with originality. Delicious and exclusive fragrances of Italian ice will be offered to you: Smartiees, Kinder, Nutella, caramel caramel, tiramisu, Toblerone, Bounty, melon, meringue, lemon pie… But also pancakes, homemade chocolate, waffles and churros, a real treat.

The traditional market is a must for those who love seasonal and local produce! Here, the market takes place every Friday in Mimizan Bourg (behind the town hall). The covered market is open from Tuesday to Sunday (place du marché). It's a great place to share a few tapas. From June 15 to September 15, the seasonal Thursday morning market attracts onlookers and tourists alike between the Mimizan Intercommunal Tourist Office and the bullring.

Following the Benico organic farm adventure of cousins Benjamin and Nicolas, the farm continues to grow with the arrival of Lila and the departure of Benjamin for a new adventure. Well stocked with fresh seasonal produce, the farm has its own store. You'll also find them at local markets (Mimizan on Friday mornings, Saint-Julien-en-Born on Saturday mornings, Contis on Wednesdays and Sundays in season). Unusual accommodation on site.

Sacré Sucré is the kind of address you can't miss, with a taste of childhood and vacations. After 33 years of hard work and smiles, Monsieur and Madame "Chichi" as they were known, have handed over the store to Jean-Pierre's godson Thomas. Apart from the name "Ô Sacré Sucré", nothing has changed! With sugar, Mars-style caramel or Bounty-style coconut, the crepes and waffles are homemade. Late into the evening, you can enjoy Italian-style ice creams and succumb to the temptation of a wide selection of sweets.

Whether you head straight back to the beach at La Garluche or take a seat at one of the many tables on the terrace, Le Ressac is the artisan ice cream parlour facing the ocean! And you'll be able to choose from 70 flavors of ice cream and sorbet, including cocoa, double vanilla, ginger, basil and citrus cactus for lime lovers. The smoothies are not made with fresh fruit, but they are nonetheless thirst-quenching. A formula with a full galette, a crêpe and a drink is available here for 15 euros.

Benjamin and Laetitia set up this farm in 2020, followed by a boutique in 2023 where you'll also find products from other producers. You'll find all the fruits and vegetables of the season, as well as groceries, local dairy products and more. You can also meet the farm's animals, including the herd of Highland Cattle and Ouessant sheep that tend the meadows. They are also sold at local markets.

The blue sky, the ocean, the warm sand... An ice cream? Close to the beach of La Garluche, Milan offers you ice creams and sorbets without coloring or added flavors. Made at the farm, you can add homemade chocolate or organic spread, homemade salted caramel, mango or red fruit coulis and also whipped cream to your jar or cone. As always, the hardest part will be choosing. Even more if you hesitate with the waffles and pancakes prepared under your eyes. To be enjoyed in the street, on the beach or on the terrace above.
