Restaurant with terrace to enjoy the long summer evenings in Mimizan.

Facing the ocean and taking the place of a former car repair garage, Garage Toqué dominates the waterfront. In a nod to its former glory, chef Alexandre Dupouy has preserved the gas pump, the cans in the colors of a famous oil tanker and the changing rooms. Nevertheless, everything has been brought up to date, and all you can smell are the delicious aromas of the dishes. What more could you ask for: local suppliers, a fine wine list, uncluttered decor, a warm welcome and a large terrace to enjoy the long summer evenings? We also come for a drink, with a view!

Ce restaurant est face à l’océan. La cuisine parait authentique et de bons gouts. La carte ne propose pas un choix énorme, ce qui laisse présager des plats de qualités, du frais et non du surgelé. En tout cas, je recommande cet établissement parmi les nombreux à Mimizan plage. Bon rapport prix/qualité. Le service est bon même s'il pourrait être un peu plus rapide mais il faut reconnaitre qu'en période estivale, la fréquentation est vraiment à son paroxysme. Faite vite, ils ont beaucoup de demande et ne prennent pas de réservation.
