Pâtisserie, pastisseria, pastis... A Gascon word for "pastry". Pastis Landais is actually a cake from Béarn. Soft and golden, it's a favorite with everyone. You'll find it in bakeries, on restaurant tables for dessert, and in artisan shops. In Dax, Amélie's Pastis arrives directly from Pau, where it is made by Peio, Amélie's great-grandson. After ten years of long and tedious research, father and son have rediscovered the flavours of yesteryear... And what about us? We enjoy them on the spot or to take away.
