"For me, Chalosse represents the yardstick of original tastes": celebrated chef Alain Ducasse pays tribute to the region where he grew up. From his childhood on the family farm at Castel-Sarrazin, he remembers the fabulous local produce that shaped his palate. If you're looking for good food in the area, you can also admire the heritage of this small rural town, such as the old buildings of Bourcòt or the covered arenas that host the Landes races, a tradition celebrated here especially during the town's patron saint's day in September. The Pomarez bullring, 4 km to the west, is also worth a visit.
