The village is dominated by the old castle with its Renaissance facade, private property, a setting for cultural events. The Chapelle des Chauveix, restored, is decorated with a fresco by the Limousin artist Roch Popelier, representing passages from the life of Saint Francis of Assisi. He also carved Christ in wood and made the 44 birds arranged in the shape of a cross and cut out of porcelain paste.
