LE CYRANO-PÂTISSERIE FAURE
Cyrano is a regional speciality made up of a prune that has macerated in a liqueur, before being filled with a mixture of praline, then coated with chocolate rolled in icing sugar. François Boursier, creator of this little marvel in 1970, named it after Jean Piat, a local actor who, at the time of his conception, played Cyrano de Bergerac. His successor, by taking over the shop, gave him the name of this candy and kept the original recipe carefully, which earned him two silver medals. The Cyrano has changed hands again, it is currently Fabrice Faure's Pâtisserie, but it is still the address where you can find the best Cyranos. The pastry shop also offers magnificent chocolate subjects at Easter. The shop also sells Arena cakes (close to financiers) and fine chocolates.
