The commune of Magnac-Bourg is a charming little village, labelled Village étape since 1995 and rich in history. In particular, it was one of the stages for pilgrims on the road to Santiago de Compostela. Branch of the parish of Meuzac until the 17th century, Magnac-Bourg became a separate parish of Meuzac in 1685. Many buildings date from this period: the 15th century Gothic church with its 19th century bell tower and remarkable 16th century stained glass windows, the House with 2 turrets from 1601, the 18th century Bastide House, the 17th century enamelled terracotta roofing spikes and the 18th century Château de Lostende. Other curiosities are not to be missed such as: the dolmen of La Villedieu, the Ogival Arch of the Rohan's Granary of Plenty, the Gallo-Roman funerary Cippe and many others.
