This district, between the Rule Street and the river, has preserved its cobbled and winding streets, whose stairs go down to Vienna. The houses seem to have not changed, modest, with their wooden parts. Under the authority of the abbey, this typical district also houses the houses of furs recognizable by their claire greniers for drying skins. In a niche at the bottom of the street, Notre-Dame-du-Peiteu (beater in Occitan) is still watching the neighborhood.
