LES PETITS VENTRES
Restaurant on 2 floors with half-timbered walls and terrace with a menu of regional specialties.
Under the leadership of chef Stephanie Cuq, Les Petits Ventres perpetuate the Limousin culinary tradition in a typical building in one of the oldest districts of Limoges. The restaurant is located on two floors in an old butcher's house, half-timbered, with windows still beautifully decorated with flowers. The menu remains faithful to its regional specialities such as strawberry veal, calf's head, or beef tongue, ventresca and, for those who are not tempted by giblets, they have the choice, for example, between fish from the market and its risotto, the veal chop sautéed with tomato confit, duck leg in red wine, pan-fried foie gras, smoked salmon plate or, simpler, the vegetarian plate. The desserts are in the spirit of a gourmet bistro: Breton shortbread, red fruit compote, or a dessert around chocolate with different textures. The menu changes according to the season. We appreciate seeing the owners, Stéphanie and her team greeting customers in the dining room. In the summer, you can choose the pleasant, quiet terrace facing the Saint-Aurélien chapel.
