Montjovis station more commonly known as the "Charentes Railway Station" is the remnant of a time when competition was in the rail sector. It is now only an intermediate stop from the Limoges-Angoulême line, which starts and finishes its race in Limoges-Mitis. For travellers, no correspondence is provided. In fact, don't think there's any way to buy tickets. The place is no longer a busy railway centre, if it is not by the freight cars transiting there and by the locomotives waiting to be able to cross (trains for Limoges-Angoulême link only in one lane). At a time when large rail investments are on the wings, the urban tram project that would entice the outlying neighbourhoods of Limoges from Montjovis is no longer on the agenda.
