The church, built at the end of the 12th century, was completely rebuilt in the 15th century and the present bell tower was raised in the 17th century. Of the original church, there remains a portal in a pointed arch which is characterized by the fact that all the gorges that lighten the pedestals and the vaults are filled with pearls and billets. The baskets of the capitals are carved with hooks, masks and birds. Inside, notice the baptismal font carved in a capital carved with hooks, a cupboard whose wooden door is carved with Gothic windows of carved tombstones. Not far from Rocherolles, a small path runs along the Gartempe, a picturesque site particularly appreciated by canoeists and hikers. This path leads to the Rocherolles viaduct, a very beautiful 19th century structure, particularly for the quality of its architecture (admire the refuges in the cul-de-lampe). Built in granite from the region, 187 m long, 57 m high, composed of 12 arches on 2 levels, it allows the railway line to cross the Gartempe valley. From the first floor, accessible through rudimentary steps, there is a superb view over the valley.
