MAUGEIN ACCORDION FACTORIES

For over 100 years (1919), the Maugein company has been designing and manufacturing chromatic and diatonic accordions. The last and only manufacturer in France, the factory, a true heritage of the city of accordions, was taken over in February 2014 by Marie-Christine Dubart and Richard Brandao, following a receivership that threatened the future of the production and restoration of these pianos with straps. Come and visit the famous factory where the 6,000 pieces of these beautiful 8-12 kg wood and steel action pianos are assembled. To support its redeployment, the company has launched a subscription campaign and a new accordion model, "the 2014", in the same year and for the same amount as the previous model. In addition to the factory boutique, an ephemeral boutique has been open since 2014 in the heart of the old town, avenue Charles de Gaulle.
