This village, with its beautiful houses built of brazier (red sandstone), is divided into Saint-Aulaire-Mairie, Saint-Aulaire-Eglise (a beautiful viewpoint) and Quatre-Chemins on the plain. It's well known that in Corrèze we eat apples. The markets are full of them in season: golden d'altitude, delbar, elstar, braeburn, reine des reinettes and more. The orchards are located on the sunny slopes of the Bas-Limousin plateaux, between 300 and 500 meters above sea level. From cool nights to sunny days, aromas develop harmoniously. Crunchy, juicy, sweet or tart, apples have conquered the palates of connoisseurs and chefs alike.
