The village of Saint-Libéral, land of the Vialhe family, mentioned by Claude Michelet in his famous novels "Des Grives aux Loups", "Les Palombes ne passeront plus" or "L'Appel des Engoulevents", is in fact that of Perpezac-le-Blanc, where the author had family ties. The commune is located in western Corrèze, not far from the Dordogne border. It is home to the Château du Puy, which dominates the village and its 400-odd inhabitants. The Sentier de la Mine (Mine Trail), dotted with information kiosks, allows visitors to identify the region's plants through the seasons and discover the town's history. The trail starts from the church.
